Aba-Aba Knifefish 5-6"

The Aba-Aba Knifefish is a captivating nocturnal predator perfect for established aquariums. These sleek, dark-bodied fish are known for their unique ability to generate weak electric fields for navigation and communication. They prefer dimly lit tanks with plenty of hiding spots among driftwood and plants, making them ideal for creating a naturalistic biotope setup. Aba-Abas are carnivorous and thrive on a diet of live or frozen foods like bloodworms and small fish. They're best kept with larger, compatible tank mates to avoid predation on smaller fish. With proper care and appropriate tank conditions, these intriguing fish make a rewarding addition for experienced aquarists seeking something truly unique.
